By accessing or using Jack of All Trades, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Description of Service

Jack of All Trades is a marketplace that connects builders (entrepreneurs, product developers) with users (individuals with real-world problems) for paid interview sessions. Builders pay to interview users, and users receive compensation for their time and insights.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform
• One account per person; no duplicate or fake accounts

4. Builder Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews professionally and respectfully
• Honor scheduled interview times or cancel with reasonable notice
• Obtain explicit consent before recording interviews
• Use interview insights for legitimate business purposes only
• Not share user personal information without consent
• Pay for interviews as agreed upon booking

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide honest and genuine responses during interviews
• Show up for scheduled interviews on time
• Communicate promptly if you need to reschedule or cancel
• Not fabricate or exaggerate problems for financial gain
• Maintain professional conduct during all interactions

6. Payments

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (Stripe, PayPal). Users receive payment within 24 hours of completing an interview. Jack of All Trades takes a service fee from each transaction.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment, abuse, or discrimination of any kind
• Sharing illegal content or engaging in illegal activities
• Attempting to circumvent the platform for direct payments
• Creating fake profiles or misrepresenting yourself
• Spamming or sending unsolicited messages
• Attempting to extract personal information inappropriately

8. Intellectual Property

Builders retain ownership of any products or ideas they develop. Users retain ownership of their personal stories and experiences. Interview insights may be used by builders for product development but should not be shared publicly without consent.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users may delete their accounts at any time. Pending payments will be processed before account deletion.

10. Limitation of Liability

Jack of All Trades provides a platform for connections but is not responsible for the content of interviews, the success of products built from insights, or disputes between users and builders. Our liability is limited to the fees paid through the platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
